Today was the second day of the two days off work we were given to celebrate the new year. I have been feeling a cold coming on and therefore spent the day in my room catching up on some Photoshop-ing. Lots of pictures taken the last two days. But a day off is far too precious to waste lying in bed, so me, Greg and Randie decided to have dinner and play some pool. They too have been feeling a little worn out after all the celebrating and a peaceful evening among friends was just about what they could handle. We met outside Karen Café, our de facto meeting place, slipped slipped through a nearby alley and on to Liaoyang's restaurant street. Randie was running late so me and Greg got the choice of restaurant. Korean barbecue is always a safe bet so we headed on inside and got started. Tonight was the first time I have had barbecue and not stuffed myself. Wohoo! Since it is very cold outside nowadays we went to first pool hall we came across, Mingjue Billiards (名爵桌球). Not the fanciest place we have been to, but good enough. We splurged wildly tonight, getting the 16元/hour luxury room (4元 more than a regular table). We played for a couple of hours but still finished early; the three of us all needed to get a good nights rest in preparation of another week of tiresome toiling.
