After a good night's rest we had pretty much recuperated from yesterday's intense hike and were ready to once more take on the Yellow Mountains. Walking down-hill is so much easier than up-hill, haha! Today's hike hardly had us break a sweat. The weather was just as amazing as yesterday and the view over the vast expanses of mountains and open space was amazing to behold first hand. When we arrived at the bus station at the base of the mountain we realized just how good the weather had been: a crisp, pink and toasty sunburn! Lady Fortuna found it appropriate that we should miss the the only departure to Suzhou today, so we had to wait for almost five hours before getting on a bus to Nanjing instead. It is on the way anyway, no more than an hour by train from Suzhou. Felt kind of stupid checking in at the Home Inn hotel at 23:30 in the only to leave the next day before 9-o'clock. :-)
