TITLE: THE TRAIN TO 芜湖 (Wuhu)

Today we set off for the Yellow Mountains in Anhui Province. I left the bulk of my things at the dorm and only brought the bare necessities for our month-long trip around China (we'll come back here before going home to Sweden). Wu Yanli (吴艳丽) helped us buy a couple of train tickets to the small town of Wuhu, from which we are to take the bus the last of the way. The train station was crowded as always and the temperature is close to 40C outside. Fortunately we got tickets on K-train; one with air-conditioner. The train left Xi'an late in the afternoon and we spent the evening eating some instant noodles and watching the scenery. That was pretty much it before going to bed; not much to do on the train besides reading books and listening to music.
