Today I had an amazing lunch with Karin Lindmark at a place called Buljong. They specialize in soups and the tomato/sausage-soup might just have been the best soup I have ever had. Me and Karin go way back, 2007 in fact, when we both started taking Chinese classes and it is always good to see a fellow sinologist. After lunch we had dessert at Pastisseriet. It is a good that everything there is so expensive, beacuse otherwise I would be at least 10kg heavier than I am today. Easily. My parents celebrate 30 years of happy marriage tomorrow, so dad got some nice cheese at a small local place and two bottles of red wine for them to dine on tomorrow night...and then we searched for some more geocaches, hehe~ We found two, but we just could not find the last one, supposedly easily hidden in this piece of concrete art. I spent the evening at Chen Cairong's (陈彩容) place playing mahjong together with Gao Tian (高天) and Qiu Ling (邱玲), the best tenants ever. Chen married Zhang Gang (张刚) last November (I was best man, remember~) and is now pregnant in the fifth month. Gao pretended to loose the first 5 or 6 rounds and then went on to just sweep us away. I was said to "play pretty well for a white guy". [^_^] Having lost in mahjong we played a round of Hearts as well, but we didn't manage to beat Gao this time either. Damn I am going to miss playing games with these guys! Why can't I stay at the university just a little while longer?
