TITLE: LONG-AWAITED CANOEING TRIP

Arriving on Saturday morning we picked up Alex, Moa and Terje at the northern shore of the southernmost Lake S:t Kloten and together transferred to the northern part, Lake S:t Korslången. The sun graced us with a warm welcome and stayed with us throughout most of the day. Lunch was enjoyed on one of the numerous islets after which a small portage took us to the main part of the lake system. A small shower hit us just as we were about make shore on the island where we planned to stay the night. The guys gathered wood and the ladies happened upon a throng of trumpet chanterelle, nicely complementing our bread-and-bacon dinner. The evening was spent by the campfire, which kept us company into the night as we went to bed in our wind shelter.
