A carpet fitter is coming to take a look at my living-room and kitchen floors next Tuesday, so I thought I would clean it up a little to get a good look at it first. You see, I want to polish the wooden flooring and put stone tiles on the small patch of a floor in the kitchen. To my aid I had a newly purchased mop and bucket and mom's old vacuum cleaner that I inherited. Now you might think, "nice, an old and beaten up hoover", but no, this is a Nilfisk EXTREME. Its built to last and I am willing to bet an ice cream that it will outlive us all. Cleaning took just a little while (the place is practically empty after all) and I spent the rest of the time trying to choose tiles for the kitchen. It sure is difficult when you have two huge catalogues to go through and a million choices.
