Today I painted the wall behind the last of my five radiators and moved on to the balcony. I finally got name of the paint from the janitor (apparently it has to be a kind of outdoor facade paint) so after a quick visit to the shop I was ready to round up the first phase of the renovations. I got the routine down pretty tight now: wash, wipe, paint. Start with all the corners and edges using a small roller and then move in for the kill with "Big Momma". I haven't measured yet, but I think the balcony is about 6 square meters. Painting it didn't take long and feels good to finally be done with it. Ceilings is not the most comfortable to paint. The sun came out from the clouds and painting in such a small space wrapped in plastic quickly got both hot and moist. Had to finish the last of my Coke to make it through.
