Next on the to-do list: the bathroom ceiling. I'm starting to get the routine down now - cover the floor in paper, mask all edges, put up plastic on the walls, paint. With all this hard work done I took to the fridge for some refreshments. Diet Coke and Freeway Tonic Water, what more can you ask for. Then, one to the last step, which unique to bathrooms, washing the ceiling as they tend to get dirtier than other rooms (also it is a kind of paint that glossier and more plastic-y that lends itself to cleaning). It is hard work scrubbing so high over your head and it took way longer than I had planned. The bottle of detergent promised "no additional wiping needed", which was a big fat lie. I had to wipe down some areas TWICE before they were clean. With that out of the way I am now ready for the last ceiling. Okay, then there is the balcony but it doesn't count, it is like 5 square meters.
