We had the greatest luck with the weather today! We took the car from the hotel in the morning but turned around after not even ten minutes. We ditched the car and rented bikes and went geocache-hunting! We did 21 but found only 16 of them, pretty good I must say. Dad's GPS took us back and forth through the small town of Burg and then out and about among the fields around it. Germans LOVE geocaching. At one cache we ran into TWO other groups of "cachers" and we kept bumping into them and others later on as well. We ended our trip around Burg at the harbour not far from the hotel with dinner at the Zum Golden Anker. That fish restaurant had some crazy portions I tell you! What you see in the pictures is the main course that mom and dad shared (!). Good times. It is kind of funny how popular geocaching is. More than once did locals see us search and stop by, chat for a while and then help out giving hints. :-)
