So, this little weekend adventure has come to an end and it is time for us to go home again. Just as we were about to leave I thought I would take a couple of pictures to remember the wonderful snow in case it would melt away in the weeks before Christmas. The sun was setting really quickly in the afternoon (almost before our eyes as we packed the car) and I managed to catch some of the softest, coldest light I have seen this year. It is difficult to put in words, but it gives the photos a very distinct feeling that is very hard to replicate in Photoshop or under other lighting conditions. In any case, I got lucky this time and I hope to encounter more of this wonderful light.
