Maria turned 24 on August the 7th and requested a party with the family at Tögmossen (my parents summer house). So, after a quick bout with the lawn early this morning me and Lovisa left for the countryside in our phat rental Ford. When we arrived the guys were had just finished cleaning all the yellow chanterelle mushrooms (the most sought after mushroom in Swedish woods) they found in the forest earlier. The celebrations started off with mingle at the bar, barbecuing and then ice cream cake. Afterwards a competitive game of Kubb was set up at our Olympic standard Kubb-field. Four teams entered: Team Cow, Team Goat, Team Horse and Team Cod Fish; one team emerged victorious: Team Cod Fish (my team). Andreas and Filip couldn't take the pressure and lost with only the king remaining, both of them missing their shot. We spent the night inside playing board games and cards. Just like Andreas had a breakdown when playing Kubb, Lina made a critical mistake mistaking a two of clubs for a joker, not only loosing the game but helping Andreas a great deal in the process. She was not happy about it. And that concluded a wonderful day.
