Today the renovations of my apartment officially began. I spent the better part of the evening covering the floors in protective paper (3 hours actually). It took A LOT longer than I had anticipated and it was surprisingly hard work. I am going to start with the ceiling, move on to the walls and finish with the floor. I will paint, wallpaper and then put in parquet floor in the bedrooms. And then of course a whole bunch of other stuff that I will realize need doing along the way.
