Midsummer, Sweden's most important holiday. The festivities started with the traditional midsummer celebration at Vallby. Yang Xi (杨曦), her boyfriend Marcus, his friend Jesper and Yu Rongrong (于蓉蓉, a friend's colleague here on a business trip) took the grand tour of the museum and then participated in the dancing around the pole. With an new-found intense-pink sunburn we headed back to Rågetsvägen and my place to continue the celebrations. My trusty meat-eating comrades Edvin Berglin and Henrik Wetterling took control of the barbecuing while the rest of us prepared the salad and other dishes. One of the suppliers at work (Boxco) sponsored the entertainment of the evening: Mölkky (a Finnish variation of kubb). Edvin got the "Worst Throw Ever"-award for his brutal overshoot and Henrik took home the victory (extremely shockingly). We started playing another round but we had to abandon it and run for safety as we were swarmed with mosquitoes. Well indoors we wrapped up the evening with some competitive Guitar Hero and Bomberman on the Wii.
