Heping was closed for quite some time because of the Spring Festival (everyone from far away go home for a couple of weeks) and it wasn't until a few days ago that it opened again. As the handsome but lazy young men that we are, me and Wu Yang (吴洋) of course relish the possibility of getting cooked dinner without taking more than 100 steps from the main gates. Wu's mom brought him an iPad 2 from Beijing, and every minute of his spare time is spent playing with it. If you have ever wondered what it is like in the back of a regular Chinese eatery, I hereby present to you: Heping's kitchen! Pretty clean I must admit. It was kind of late and we were the only customers, so no action in there. It was daylight when we came, but we stuck around after finishing and played on Wu's iPad and it was pitch black when we finally left.
