Caught a small cold, feeling tired with a sore throat. I got off work an hour early today and went to the doctor. He took a quick look at my throat, prescribed me some Chinese medicine. 5元 all in all. Who said medical treatment in China is prohibitively expensive? I was also told by my fellow colleagues that I MUST have ginger soup tonight before going to sleep. Heping didn't have any, but they made me some soup dumpling with a ton of extra ginger. Not bad, but way too much dumplings. Next time I'll go with half a jin instead (1 jin = 500g). Now off to bed!
