After lunch today, Zhang Rui (张睿) came running with tears in her eyes (okay, a slight exaggeration) bemoaning the low light in the main warehouse; she had to send a customer photographs of the goods but all her pictures came out too dark to see anything. Being the resident photographer I grabbed my camera, put on my helmet, and off we went. The panorama shows the view of the yard as seen with the back against the entrance to the warehouse. The office is on the right, just outside of the picture. It wasn't really that dark inside the warehouse, but I can understand that regular, disposable, digital cameras might have a difficult time under these conditions. After all the labels had been attached to the stack of forklift mastrails, I snapped a couple of shots and that was that. I took the opportunity to take a some pictures of the jolly fellows wrapping and stacking the steel beams. Hongchang, if I haven't told you already, produces mastrails for forklifts and track-shoes for excavators. The steel billets are rolled into shaped and stored in this warehouse awaiting delivery. The beams are then cut by the customers themselves into correct size. Sort of cutting a loaf of bread, only using bigger and cooler equipment.
