TITLE: THE LONGEST LUNCH EVER

Today me and 王家强 (Wang Jiaqiang) visited a friend of his which runs a small logistics business. It took longer than we thought, so instead of going back to the office for lunch we decided to go to Wang's wife's restaurant instead. Since it is no fun having lunch with just two people, he invited some friends over. I expected a standard, one-hour lunch, but for some reason no one went back to work and that one hour quickly turned into five hours! I found myself in a somewhat tricky situation, as I was basically stuck there since Wang was not leaving either. After three hours Wang somehow disappeard somewhere and I was left alone with his quite tipsy friends. After five straight hours of eating and drinking, Wu Yang (吴洋) came to my rescue, picking me up when he got off work. I don't think I have ever been to the bathroom so many times in one single day. At Jiahe I had one glass of liquor, five half-litre bottles of beer (nothing strong, only 2.5%) and another five half-litre bottles of water. My poor bladder. But Wu didn't pick me up to take me back home, no, now it was time for dinner! Wu's cousin 张振雷 (Zhang Zhenlei) and his friend 张贺丰 (Zhang Hefeng) were on a one-day visit from Heilongjiang Province (黑龙江省) to Shoushan (首山), so together with 姜竹阳 (Jiang Zhuyang) the four of us went to a nice Sichuan restaurant (川江码头). Around this time the all that alcohol started to kick in and my memory is somewhat fuzzy. I remember us going to at least one karaoke bar (I think the first one was full) after dinner. These were the pictures I found on my phone when I woke up the day after. Somewhere around ten or eleven I got back to my room and went to bed immediately. What a day!
