One of the very few young managers at Wanxingda, Hu Qingxu (胡庆旭), is a good friend of ours and we have been planning for some to get together and have dinner before the Spring Festival. But since this is one of the busiest times of the year it has been tricky to find a date that suits everyone. So, today one my way to dinner and pool with Wu Yang (吴洋)(whom else?), Wu calls me and tells me there has been a change of plans, we are having hotpot with Hu instead. We first went to Juxiangge (聚香阁) but it was completely full, so we went to Longxingtai instead. Hu was in a good mood and ordered enough dishes to more than fill the whole table. I thought: "we are never going to finish all this", but lo and behold, we did! Even though the girls didn't have any alcohol they still got rather excited and a short and friendly cat-fight ensued. Appart from the compulsory liquor (玉泉), we also got a bunch Harbin beers, first time since I came here (!). For some reason it is not that popular around here, even though Harbin is only a few hours by train away from here. We had a great time, like is often the case‚ and I didn't get home until too late for an updating the blog. Too many activities and dinners the last couple of days is the reason why my updates have been lagging behind. It will be rectified as soon as I find the time to take care of the hundreds of pictures I have taken. Just sit tight, pictures are coming~ [^_^]
