Since my lens hood snapped in two pieces my camera have felt...naked without it. Not only that, but a lens hood provides more protection for your lens than you might think. At least for people like me who lug our camera with us everywhere we go. A very cheap protection once you get into more expensive glass. It just so happens that Grisha's friend Jin Xin's older sister runs a small store selling cameras. Grisha, me and Wu Yang went there together with Jin Xin after our visit to the White Pagoda. They didn't have the right model for my lens, but were more than happy to order one for me. Hoods for my kind of lens came in two kinds: one cheap and crappy, and one a little less cheap and crappy. The cheap one was 60元 (SEK259 in Sweden!) and the expensive one 90元. I decided to go with a nice one, it will arrive later this week. Jin Xin (金鑫) could just be the most awesome Chinese name there is (except for Xu Jia [许嘉], of course), a "gold" followed by three more "gold". Who would not want a name like that? Jin loooves to pose for the camera and we all got kind of carried away snapping pictures at the store. To round our visit off, I got me a picture of Jin wearing her pig-mask, one of the cutesiest I have seen.
