Today we went with one of 许嘉's high school friends (李婧) to the market street in Old Town Tianjin. Here they of course sell every kind of crap a tourist might want. I went with the novel approach of only buying edible stuff. Luckily Tianjin is reknown for its wide variety of sweets. So at a small shop specialized in these things I bought a plastic bag stuffed with nice looking sweets. It turned out that everything except the Chinese nougat was not for me. :-P
