Heating is government regulated and can't be turned on until the 15th of November (which they will do regardless of wheter it is needed or not). So, ingenious Chinese students hang their comforters out in the sun during the day in order to alleviate the worst cold at night. Just 4 days to go now. It is not that cold actually; I am told last winter was the coldest in 50 years, so winter this year is expected to be pretty mild.
