6 lanes of roundabout madness, and I crossed them all by bike. Twice. Too much awesome to put into words. I borrowed a bike from a friend and Xi'an turned out to be way smaller than I thought! Since my frame of reference is on a bike everything seemed so big walking or going by taxi. But it is actually rather small. It didn't take me many minutes to go from campus to the west gate of the city wall, all across and then back home.
