Today we set out in better time than yesterday and finally got the paperwork we needed. We first went to this animal clinic but it turned out to be for dogs only. The manager told us about another clinic nearby, which could help us. After running around for a while we finally found it, but they of course could not help us, instead pointing us in the direction of a third place, a small animal hospital. When we finally found our way over there, it turned out to be barely more sophisticated than a village shaman in a hut somewhere on the countryside. We went to one veterinarian (who did absolutely nothing) who pointed us to another veterinarian (who also did absolutely nothing). This one pointed us to a third one (who likewise wasn't too busy), who naturally pointed us back to the first one. Eventually all three of them agreed that it was indeed the first one who should help us. And in the end we paid 30元 for his signature on a paper. He didn't even look at the 李拉. Why is this certificate even needed, one could ask? Urgh.
