邓斌 (Deng Bin) from the Fourth Military Medical University invited me out for lunch to try a speciality of the Shaanxi province. Without asking what we would be eating, I agreed. It turned out that this "specialty" is a soup made from a mix of noodles, bread and lamb. More specifically lamb stomache, heart, lungs, liver and intestines. Yummy! The liver was actually not that bad, but the rest was kind of weird. 邓斌 and his friend treated me to a big bowl while ordering small bowls for themselves. Stupid Chinese courtesy!
