I was warned against using the plastic slippers at the gym, but I thought: "Hey, 1.3 billion people can't be wrong, right?". But they can. Today I noticed one of my toes has grown a huge wart. So I decided to try fix it the Chinese way, going to a foot massage parlour and have them take care of it according to ancient Chinese lore. I hope it works. It was not what I expected: they used a small knife to carefully cut away small pieces of the wart, applied some kind of red liquid and wrapped the toe up. They also gave me a complete nail/foot job, cutting nails, removing dead skin and told me to come back in 3-4 days to finish the wart off. I will report on the effectiveness after the next session.
