The second day we started off with the olympic stadium. After standing in three lines in order to get ticket, we finally got inside...and found that there was not a whole lot to see. Actually a little surprising to see that so many people are still coming to see an empty stadium and buy overpriced souvenirs half a year after the games ended. On the outside the speakers were of course blasting the olympic theme song non-stop, which was a little aggrevating. "Beijing huanying niiiiiiiii!". Then off to stuff myself nasty with traditional Chinese hotpot at a small restaurant. The afternoon was spent at the Summer Palace, but more on that along with tomorrow's picture.
