On a day trip to west Tainjin to have a look at the ancient family home of the prestigious An family. This pircture shows just one of the many rooms and courtyards. I haven't read up on the their history, but they seem to have been pretty well off. The atmosphere and the beautiful architecture was a welcome change of scenery from the metropolis that is Tianjin.
