We went to the Lotus supermarket and found all these really strange fruits and just had to try them out. Since they are all imported from Taiwan and the southern China, they were all ridiculously expensive. And not that fresh either, since regular Chinese people can't afford to buy them. Anyway, the red thing tasted like an apple sort of; the huge plum/peach on the left didn't taste much of anything; the brown things with scales with the yellow stuff inside, I can't even begin to describe; lastly the brown thing which looks sort of like a brain did actually have the consistency I imagine a brain would have. Nasty. I've seen some other interesting fruits as well, but I have yet to try them out.
